Find a Time to Meet With Friends

Turn “we should meet up” into a plan. Give your friends a few possible times and share one poll link in your group chat.

Spend less of the conversation comparing dates

Planning dinner, a game night, or a weekend catch-up should not require piecing together a long message thread. A poll keeps the possible dates together while the conversation can stay focused on what you want to do.

Create a FindCommonTime poll with a few options, then let each friend mark the times that work. The poll can be created without an account, and friends can respond through the shared link without signing up.

How it works

  1. Pick the plan and possible times

Name the poll after the activity, such as Saturday brunch or Board game night, and add a few dates.

  2. Drop the link in your chat

Friends using a shared link enter their name and mark their availability. Personal invitation links are also available.

  3. Settle on a time

Check the responses, confirm the final time in the poll, and tell your friends where to meet.

Put it into practice

Example: a dinner that finally happens

You offer Friday at 19:00, Saturday at 18:00, and Sunday at 17:00. Everyone marks all the evenings they can make. If Saturday works for the group, confirm it and use the chat to agree on a restaurant or who is cooking.

Keep the first shortlist small

Start with a handful of realistic options. It is easier for friends to answer three clear suggestions than to inspect every evening in the next month. If none works, use what you learned to suggest another round.

Common questions

Can I share the poll in a group chat?

Yes. Copy the shared participation link and paste it into the chat you already use.

Can friends change their answers?

While the poll is open, participants can return to their response and update their availability. Once the organizer closes the poll, responses can no longer be changed.
