Make the group decision easier to see
Group scheduling becomes difficult when replies arrive in different places: one person answers a message, another suggests a different day, and someone has not replied at all. A shared poll gives the group the same list of options to answer.
Use FindCommonTime for a club, a volunteer group, a study circle, or any group that needs to agree on a time. Results distinguish available, unavailable, and unanswered responses, so silence does not have to be treated as a no.
How it works
Set the boundaries
Agree on the date range and approximate duration, then add a manageable shortlist of times.
Collect the group's availability
Share the common link, or add invitees by name and send their personal links.
Choose with the results in view
Sort times chronologically or by attendance. Use the minimum-participant filter to focus on options that meet your group's needs.
Put it into practice
Example: a volunteer planning session
A volunteer group wants at least five people at its next planning session. The organizer offers four time options and asks everyone to respond before Friday. Once replies arrive, the minimum-participant filter helps narrow the list to times with enough people available.
Decide what counts as a workable time
Before collecting responses, agree whether everyone must attend or whether a smaller group is enough. Attendance totals can help with that decision, but check separately that any essential participants can make the chosen time.
Common questions
Can I see which times have the most people available?
Yes. You can sort the results by attendance and filter them by the minimum number of participants.
What if someone has not answered?
Unanswered responses are displayed separately from IN and OUT responses. You can remind that person through the channel where you shared the link.
