One question. A clear set of time options.

A scheduling poll is useful when you know who you want to meet but have not agreed on a time. Instead of asking everyone to suggest dates in a chat, give the group a shortlist of concrete options. Each person marks whether they can attend, and the results bring those answers together.

FindCommonTime lets you add dates with start and end times, share a common participation link, or create personal links for named invitees. You can create a poll without signing up. Participants can respond through their invitation link without creating an account.

How it works

  1. Choose a few realistic options

Give your poll a clear name and add the dates and time ranges you could actually attend.

  2. Share your poll

Copy the participation link into the conversation your group already uses. Add a response deadline if the decision needs to happen soon.

  3. Compare and confirm

Review IN, OUT, and unanswered counts. Select the final time or times and close the poll when you are ready.

Put it into practice

Example: finding a time for a catch-up

Offer Tuesday from 18:00 to 19:00, Thursday from 19:00 to 20:00, and Saturday from 11:00 to 12:00. Ask everyone to mark all the options they can attend. If no option works for the whole group, use the responses to decide which new times to propose.

Availability is more useful than a single favourite

Encourage people to mark every time that works, rather than only their first choice. That gives the group more chances to find an overlap. An unanswered option is shown separately from an OUT response.

Common questions

Is the scheduling poll free?

Yes. You can create a FindCommonTime poll and share it with participants for free.

Do I need to connect a calendar?

No. You enter the time options yourself, and participants mark their availability in the poll.
